Hello,

If I understand, you want to know what is the journalling talking about !!! (Oh, my english is very bery bad !!! Sorry !)

It's talk about a Bai Jia Bei. It's a blanket made for a baby to whish a very good life, it's a chinese custom. people send a 20*20 cm piece of fabric (need 100) and after I'm sewing the
Bai Jia Bei.

The legend:

The last empress of the Qing Dynasty was a
concubine among the other until she had the chance to give birth to the only son of the emperor. One day, forced to
leave her baby alone, she had to develop a plan to protect seniors''wives''and other powerful Manchu families support its claim to the
throne. In each of the hundred highest families of the empire, she asked for a piece of the finest
silk. Of the
silks, she ordered the palace tailors to cut into 100 small pieces and these pieces make a robe for her child. Thus he belonged, by
symbol, 100 families strong and noble, and under this protection, the gods would fear to harm him.
This legend has been
transformed into a Chinese tradition. In northern China, the tradition celebrates the arrival of a new life in a particular way: the creation Bai Jia Bei a - a patchwork of 100
vows. The custom
is to invite 100 people to give each a piece of fabric (20 × 20 in 100% cotton). The 100 pieces are sewn together to form a patchwork that contains the luck, energy and good wishes of all those who have
contributed. The
person who participates in the Bai Jia Bei also presents a map that have been written messages of welcome and happiness for the child and sent a sample of tissue for
coverage. It is a
wonderful tradition because it allows the child later to realize that everyone was waiting along with her parents.
